Objective

Entry Requirement

Certification

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participants at the end of the course. Participants are required to complete all quizzes and meet attendance requirements to qualify to sit for the NIOSH SSS examination.

What are the difference between Safety Health Officer (SHO) & Safety Site Supervisor (SSS)?

Regulation 25 (2) of the Factories and Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction [BOWEC]) (Safety) Regulations 1986 has stipulate that site safety supervisor must be a person who is competent to perform the duties specified in sub-regulation (3) and (4), and have qualifications approved by the Chief Inspector and working experience of at least for two years as a construction site foreman. Chief Inspector is Director General of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
